Survey Towers in Control: Resonant show up on the map on their own, but none of them work until you activate them by hand. The routine never changes: three radar dishes on the tower each point at one nearby antenna flashing red, and calibrating all three brings the tower — and the zone map — online. This guide covers each confirmed tower and where its antennas lurk.
Downtown Survey Tower
Your first tower comes as part of the story flow. Leave the Oldest House, step onto the Downtown streets, and follow the main objective to the rooftop ahead — the Downtown Survey Tower stands there, and activating it unlocks the zone map.
Activation needs one more step: talk to the worker beside the tower, then calibrate the three red-blinking antennas in the vicinity.
Finding all three is easier than it looks. The red flashes give them away, but the tower itself is the real tool — each of its three radar dishes aims at one antenna dish. Follow the pointing dishes and you cannot miss. Bonus: the antenna by the basketball court has the Outside the Oldest House Portal standing right next to it.
Central District Survey Tower
Coming off the watchtower into Central District, talk your way past the guard and make the Central District Survey Tower your first stop — its activation opens the district map before you commit to any explore loop. Same routine: read the three radar dishes, chase down the three red-blinking antennas.
Western Incursion Zone Survey Tower
From Central District's western edge, pass through the Western Incursion Zone checkpoint. You will spot the theater away to the north — interacting there puts you in touch with Zoe, but the route is blocked for now. Save it for later and push west to the Western Incursion Zone Survey Tower instead.
The walk west is not empty: a rooftop along the way holds the Theater Vista Portal. Calibrate this tower's three antennas the same way, and the zone map comes online.
